Some of the absolute home essentials can often be the most underrated in terms of effect on the interior design detail and overall beauty of a room. Switches, locks and handles along with window latches, ceiling rose, electrical sockets….

With sockets and switches, every room needs electrical connection and where visible should, at its best, be stunning and at least complementary.

Handles and locks door furniture can hugely enhance a wooden or painted door making a real statement on entering or leaving a room.

 

Window locks no longer need to be purely robust but can come in a variety of finishes with beautiful ceramic detail or filigree work.
