This black and white photo trend originated from women in Turkey who were responding to growing frustrations over gender violence and femicide.
The Istanbul convention is made to protect the high number of domestic abuse cases against women, which now the Turkish government are looking to back out of.
Google it.
Posting a picture is showing solidarity against this action, to empower other women as so many men are allowed to disregard and dispose us of our worth.

I count myself extremely lucky to be able to live in a fair society and to have a business where I can surround myself with an amazing team who by chance are all incredible women! They are intelligent, funny, strong, can deal with anything life throws at them and keep me grounded. Not only that but the magnificent support I have from other female business owners is phenomenal.
We all stand stronger together!

We used a durable grey leather and had some beautiful mirrors from @dominicschuster on this serene wallpaper from @sandbergwallpaper I still walk into this room and am so pleased with the finished result at this very talented photographers home-it was a total pleasure working with her! @vickyholmesphotography
